Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Chamber of Commerce (PKCG) said that Montenegrin wineries made important business contacts and successfully presented Montenegro’s wine market at the ProWein wine and spirits fair in Dusseldorf.
The Chamber organized the entire presentation of Montenegrin winemakers: Plantaze, Kekovic, Patrimonio Estate, Bogojevic, Buk, Lipovac, Krgovic, Dedvukaj and Monte Grande, including a joint booth that attracted a large number of visitors during the three days of the fair.
Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Chamber of Commerce Dusan Radonjic expressed satisfaction with Montenegro’s debut participation at the ProWein fair.
“I believe it is important to be on the global wine map. It is also important to try to replace the large quantities of wine that are currently imported with domestic production. That is why it is important to ensure opportunities for domestic producers to step onto the international stage and create a better balance between imports and exports. We have quality, excellent products, as well as authenticity and originality in the wine world,” Radonjic said.
According to a press release from the PKCG, he added that the quality of Montenegrin wines can certainly compete with all other wines presented at the ProWein fair.
