Strong joint support for companies in the energy system

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Ministers of Energy and Mining and of Agriculture, Admir Sahmanovic and Vladimir Jokovic, stated that they are fully available to institutions and state-owned companies to help clear power line routes, in order to speed up processes and improve efficiency in the field.

 

At Sahmanovic’s initiative, a meeting was held today with Jokovic, attended by the Director of the Montenegrin Electricity Transmission System (CGES), Ivan Asanovic.

 

“With the aim of improving the reliability of the power system and reducing the risk of outages, the focus of the discussion was on finding models for faster and more efficient organization of clearing power line routes, as a key segment of preventive action in the field,” the Ministry of Energy and Mining said in a press release.

 

The meeting was also attended by the State Secretary at the Ministry of Energy and Mining, Dino Tutundzic, as well as the Director General of the Directorate for Forestry, Hunting, and Wood Industry, Vlado Scepanovic, further confirming the need for strong interdepartmental coordination.

 

Sahmanovic and Jokovic noted that they are fully available to accelerate processes and improve operational efficiency.

 

“It is our joint task to provide strong support to companies in the energy system, while prioritizing the public interest and the interests of citizens above all,” the ministers said.
