Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Teams AgriAi, Scholarly, PillPoint, and Clarity were declared the best at the finals of the Social Impact Award (SIA) competition last year, recognizing the top youth social entrepreneurship ideas from Montenegro.

The NGO Youth Education Centre, which has been implementing the SIA programme in Montenegro since 2022, stated in a press release that the awarded teams demonstrated how youth-driven innovations can provide sustainable responses to social challenges. 

“The panel of experts, comprising specialists from different fields, representatives of public institutions, as well as members of the innovation, business, and academic communities, along with interested young people, had the opportunity to hear innovative solutions from young people and to be part of their path toward further development,” the press release reads.

The Youth Education Centre explained that each awarded team received initial funding of €1,500 provided by Erste Bank, three months of mentorship support, three months of work in the co-working space of the Montenegrin Science and Technology Park (NTP), as well as a trip to the international SIA Summit, to be held in Ljubljana from 18 to 22 November.

They also noted that team Clarity additionally received the Audience Award, based on online votes through the official SIA website.
