Scepanovic elected director of RACVIAC

 

Podgorica, (MINA) - Montenegrin candidate, Ambassador Miroslav Scepanovic, has been elected director of the regional RACVIAC Center for Security Cooperation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) announced.

The press release stated that, with the support of the governments of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Croatia, Romania, North Macedonia, Serbia and Turkey, Montenegro has once again earned the trust of its regional partners.

“And in this responsible capacity, it continues to contribute to strengthening regional cooperation and good neighborly relations, which is another confirmation of its constructive role in the region”, the press release reads.

Scepanovic will chair RACVIAC from next year until 2029.

“This represents a significant success for Montenegro, as regional cooperation remains one of its key foreign policy priorities”, said the MFA.
