Podgorica, (MINA) - The Human Resources Administration, at the request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP), has announced public calls for the selection of four full-term assistant Police Administration directors, announced Minister Danilo Saranovic.

He stated that four public calls have been issued for the positions of assistant directors of the Crime Fighting Sector, the General Competence Sector, the Border Police Sector and the Sector for the Protection of Persons and Facilities.

Saranovic said in a press release that the MUP continues with decisive reforms aimed at professionalizing the Police Administration and strengthening institutional stability.

He said that, after the appointment of the Director of the Police Administration for a full term, this step resolves the long-standing acting status in all police sectors, thereby further strengthening institutional stability.

“At the same time, this fulfills another important obligation arising from the final benchmarks from the negotiated Chapter 24, confirming our commitment to the European path and security sector reform”, added Saranovic.
