Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Compared with last year’s corresponding period, the prices of industrial products increased by 0.2 percent in the first quarter.

According to official statistics, the mining and quarrying sector remained at the same level, while the manufacturing sector saw a 0.2 percent year-on-year increase.

Prices of imported industrial products in Montenegro decreased by 0.1 percent in the first quarter compared to the fourth quarter of last year. 

“Compared to the fourth quarter, the mining and quarrying sector remained unchanged, while the manufacturing sector recorded a 0.1 percent increase compared to the first quarter of this year,” Monstat said in a press release.

Export prices of industrial products increased by 0.1 percent in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period last year.

“Compared to the first quarter of 2025, the mining and quarrying sector recorded a decline of 1.2 percent, while the manufacturing sector saw an increase of 0.4 percent,” the press release said.

Export prices of industrial products increased by 1.2 percent in the first quarter compared to last year’s fourth quarter. Compared to the fourth quarter, the mining and quarrying and manufacturing sectors increased by 0.3 percent and 1.4 percent, respectively.
