Budva, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to Director of the Port of Budva Nemanja Kuljaca, the company’s revenue reached €1.1 million last year, which is almost equal to the total revenue the state received from the company over the previous 20 years.
“These are measurable results that speak for themselves to anyone willing to see them,” Kuljaca said in a press release.
He believes it is pure luck for the residents of Budva that the Port is not managed by the Municipality.
“With experts from the coalition Budva Our City (BNG) holding the highest positions, you managed to go from €20 million in the municipal account just a few months ago to having no money even for salaries today,” Kuljaca said, adding that comments from the local administration are aimed at misleading the public.
He stated that investments in the Port’s equipment and infrastructure over the past two years totalled €3 million, adding that an even larger investment cycle is planned.
Kuljaca added that services have been raised to a higher level through continuous improvements and professional training, while Budva residents have received an additional 120 municipal berths under favourable conditions.
