Podgorica, (MINA) – Police officers arrested S.K. (26) from Podgorica, suspected of setting fire to a vehicle owned by the wife of police officer M.B., the Police Administration announced.

It is stated that the identity of another suspect involved in this criminal offense is known to the police and that intensive activities are being carried out to locate and arrest him.

The police said that the arson that took place two days ago, around 4:15 a.m., was resolved by the Podgorica Security Department officers, in coordination with the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office (ODT) in Podgorica.

The police said that they are undertaking activities to identify other individuals connected with the criminal offences committed against the property of police officers and their families recently.

The press release concludes that the police officers continue with the activities aimed at shedding light on other recent cases in which vehicles owned by police officers or members of their families were deliberately set on fire.
