Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – It was concluded at the Corporate Law Summit in Podgorica that Montenegro needs a platform that connects the legal profession and the business sector, with the aim of improving legal certainty and enabling more efficient decision-making.
One of the key messages of the Summit was that the legal function within companies is undergoing a transformation from a control role to a strategic one.
The Summit was organized by AMM Academy, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and with the support of the umbrella leadership and management organization, the Association of Montenegrin Managers (AMM).
It was noted at the event that lawyers must be involved in decision-making processes from the very beginning, in order to ensure a balance between legal certainty and business efficiency, while in-house lawyers are becoming an indispensable part of management teams.
The Summit brought together leading legal experts, company CEOs, business leaders, and representatives of institutions, who addressed the most important challenges of the business environment through open and substantive dialogue.
