Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – It was concluded at a meeting of the Council for Ensuring Secure Supply of Petroleum Products that the current situation on the petroleum products market in Montenegro is stable, fuel supplies are sufficient, and there are no indications of disruptions.

Minister of Energy and Mining Admir Sahmanovic, who chaired the meeting, said that in a context of unpredictable market developments, close and continuous coordination across government sectors is essential to ensure timely decision-making, market stability, and secure supply.

The meeting focused on current developments in the oil and petroleum products market, including the impact of global trends on fuel prices and the potential risks for Montenegro’s economy and citizens. 

Ongoing price fluctuations, which affect all sectors of society, were also discussed.

Particular attention was given to gathering up-to-date information directly from the largest importers and distributors.
