Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Teodora Ostojic, a senior official of the Democratic People’s Party, has resigned from her position as a member of the Board of Directors of Barska Plovidba.

She stated that she does not want to wait for the shareholders’ meeting of Barska Plovidba to dismiss the current Board and appoint a new one, but has instead decided to resign herself.

“A change of the Board follows disagreements among certain members regarding the way the Ministry of Maritime Affairs planned the future of this company,” Ostojic said in a press release.

She explained that her decision to leave the Board stems from today’s Government decision to adopt a Memorandum with Faminas Investment Group.

“It is also the result of my months-long disagreement with the way the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and the executive management of Barska Plovidba have been operating, both regarding the present and the future of this Bar-based company,” Ostojic added.
