Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – In cooperation with one of the largest British tour operators, Jet2holidays, the National Tourism Organisation (NTO) organized a study visit for journalists from the United Kingdom.
As part of the visit, Montenegro was toured by representatives of renowned media outlets, The Sun, Travel Weekly, Newsquest and The I, which together reach an audience of millions in the UK.
During their stay, the journalists visited some of the most attractive locations in Kotor, Herceg Novi, Budva, Tivat, Cetinje, as well as Lake Skadar, becoming acquainted with the country’s natural beauty, cultural and historical heritage, and gastronomy.
Jet2holidays representative Naomi Underwood said that Montenegro is a destination capable of attracting a wide range of tourists.
According to her, Montenegro truly offers something for everyone: the sea, mountains, rich history and culture, as well as unspoiled nature.
“It is a destination that can attract a broad spectrum of tourists, and I would especially recommend visiting outside the peak summer season, as early spring and late autumn are ideal for exploring,” Underwood noted.
In addition to the NTO, the study visit was supported by local tourism boards of Tivat, Kotor, Cetinje and Herceg Novi, as well as hotels Maestral, Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort, Heritage Grand Perast by Rixos, Porto Montenegro, Oblun Resort, and the travel agency GoBaloo.
