Podgorica, (MINA) - The Movement for Podgorica announced that it will propose a meeting between the parliamentary majority and representatives of the Democratic People’s Party (DNP) to reach an agreement on the election of a new Capital City Assembly chair.

The Movement for Podgorica stated that the citizens of Podgorica deserve stable, functional and efficient Capital City Assembly, working in full capacity, as its work affects citizens’ daily lives.

“That is why the Movement for Podgorica will propose a meeting between the parliamentary majority and DNP representatives, in order to reach an agreement on the election of a new Capital City Assembly chair”, says the press release.

The Movement argues that it is the responsibility of all political actors to express seriousness and readiness to reach an agreement, so that the institutions can continue functioning in the interests of citizens.
