Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to Monteput, the route of the Smokovac–Tolosi motorway section is fully aligned with the applicable planning documentation and does not endanger the Duklja archaeological site.
The company responded to claims that have appeared in the public regarding the Smokovac–Tolosi motorway route and its alleged impact on the Duklja archaeological site.
“The conceptual design of the Smokovac–Tolosi motorway section is fully harmonized with urban-technical conditions and the valid planning documentation,” Monteput said in a press release.
According to the company, during the preparation of the project, special attention was paid to compliance with all relevant restrictions and conditions, particularly with regard to protected areas, water sources, and planned spatial units, ensuring that the proposed solutions are in line with spatial planning and environmental requirements.
“The Environmental Impact Assessment report, prepared by the consortium of Via Project, CDS Project, and Geotin MNE, includes graphical attachments which, due to the scale of the base maps or imprecise georeferencing in certain segments, do not allow for a detailed assessment of technical solutions,” the press release said.
For this reason, any conclusions about specific technical elements of the project cannot be reliably drawn based on those sketches without insight into more detailed project documentation.
