Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Montenegro is increasingly positioning itself among the most promising markets for investment in mountain tourism and real estate, according to analyses published in recent weeks by respected international media outlets.
“While traditional Alpine destinations are facing limited room for development, high real estate prices, and decreasing opportunities for expansion, the attention of international investors is gradually shifting toward new European mountain markets, among which Montenegro, and especially Kolasin, is increasingly standing out,” representatives of Kolasin Valleys stated in a press release.
In an article published by Resident Magazine, Kolasin Valleys was recognized as one of the top five Alpine estate sector investment opportunities in the Balkans, with particular emphasis on its long-term development potential, four-season destination concept, and integrated planning approach.
A similar conclusion was reached in an analysis published by AP News, which points out that some investors are increasingly considering markets outside the traditional Alps due to high prices, limited supply, and the saturation of established European ski destinations.
“In that context, Montenegro is mentioned as one of the markets attracting attention because of its relative affordability, growing infrastructure, and potential for the long-term development of mountain communities and tourism facilities,” representatives of Kolasin Valleys said.
International business portal CB Herald described Kolasin Valleys as the largest all-season mountain resort in the Balkans, emphasizing that the project is attracting the interest of international buyers seeking an alternative to traditional Alpine markets.
“The article focuses on the development of premium mountain lifestyle throughout all seasons, as well as the growing demand for real estate in destinations that combine nature, active holidays, and long-term investment value,” the statement said.
According to the press release the articles focus special attention on Kolasin and the Kolasin Valleys project, which is being developed as an integrated mountain destination with a long-term vision for tourism development throughout all seasons.
