Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) - Compared with last year’s corresponding period, the prices of industrial products increased by 0.3 percent in the first quarter.

According to official statistics, the mining and quarrying sector declined by 2.1 percent, while the processing industry saw a 1.4 percent year-on-year decrease.

“Prices in the electricity, gas and air conditioning sector remained unchanged on average compared to the first quarter of 2025,” Monstat stated in a press release.

Compared with last year’s fourth quarter, the prices of industrial products increased by 0.1 percent in the first quarter.

“Compared to Q4 2025, the mining and quarrying sector declined by 0.3 percent, while the processing industry grew by 0.3 percent, respectively,” said Monstat.

On average, prices in the electricity, gas and air conditioning sector remained at the same level as in last year’s fourth quarter.
