Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to Monstat, 7.27 million litres of cow milk were purchased in this year’s fourth quarter, 6.8 percent more than in the same period of 2024.

The Statistical Office stated in a press release that, compared with corresponding period of 2024, the average dairy fat content measured in Q4 2025 increased by 2.5 percent, while the protein content was 0.1 percent higher.

“Compared with the same quarter of 2024, the production of fermented dairy products increased by 22.4 percent, sour cream and drinking milk output decreased by 19.7 percent and 6.8 percent, respectively,” the press release reads.

In the same period, cheese and cream production grew by 5.5 percent and 1.7 percent, respectively.
