Podgorica, (MINA) - French President Emmanuel Macron will pay an official visit to Montenegro in early June, Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic announced.

Following the Summit of the European Political Community in Yerevan, he outlined upcoming international activities and diplomatic events, among which the historic visit of Macron to Montenegro stands out.

Milatovic’s cabinet stated that Macron will pay an official visit to Montenegro at Milatovic’s invitation.

“This is the first official bilateral visit of a President of France to Montenegro, representing an important step forward in relations between the two countries and confirming the strengthening of political dialogue at the highest level”, the press release says.
