Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro (PKCG) Pavle D. Radovanovic and President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Sariev Temir Argembaevich have signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two business associations.
The meeting was also attended by the Honorary Consul of Montenegro in the Kyrgyz Republic, businessman Beknazar Asanov, and the Director of the PKCG’s International Cooperation Sector Dusan Radonjic.
“It was concluded that the excellent political relations between Montenegro and the Kyrgyz Republic should be reinforced by stronger economic cooperation, to which the chambers of the two countries can significantly contribute through connecting companies and promoting economic potential,” the PKCG said in a press release.
Radovanovic stated that there are many topics for discussion and joint action aimed at improving economic cooperation between Montenegro and the Kyrgyz Republic, which is currently not at a satisfactory level.
According to Argembaevich, the Kyrgyz Republic is one of the fastest-growing economies in Central Asia, with a very favourable fiscal environment and developed infrastructure, making it a highly attractive investment destination.
“Our primary interest is cooperation with Montenegro in the field of tourism, which is highly developed in your country. We believe there is an opportunity for people from the Kyrgyz Republic to be trained in Montenegro for work in this sector, as well as for their employment as economic migrants,” said Argembaevich.
The two chambers agreed to encourage and support the exchange of trade delegations in both countries, provide the necessary conditions for the development of trade relations, and organize meetings for representatives of the two countries.
