McKen: Key to Montenegro’s progress lies in cooperation and tolerance

Podgorica, (MINA) - Montenegro has made evident progress in recent months, said British Ambassador to Podgorica Dawn McKen, adding that the key to further development lies in inclusive cooperation and tolerance.
McKen said this during a meeting with Parliament Speaker Andrija Mandic.
According to the Parliament’s press release, McKen emphasized that the exchange of experiences between the parliamentarians of Montenegro and the United Kingdom would be extremely important for further bilateral cooperation.
According to her, the progress Montenegro achieved recently is evident.
“The key to the further development of Montenegro is inclusive cooperation and tolerance”, said McKen, adding that the Parliament must be a place where different opinions are channeled towards common solutions.
According to the press release, Mandic pointed out that the current parliamentary convocation has achieved historic results and that he is particularly proud of the diplomatic successes during the mandate.
He emphasized that the Parliament of Montenegro can learn a lot from the British Parliament, especially in terms of preserving and nurturing its own tradition.
