Major step forward in strengthening connectivity with Europe

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to the coordinator of the Ministry of Transport, Filip Radulovic, the expansion of Wizz Air’s operations at Podgorica Airport marks an important step forward in strengthening connectivity with Europe, especially considering that 17 new attractive routes will be available to citizens.

 

He expressed satisfaction with the successful opening of Wizz Air’s new base in Podgorica.

 

Radulovic, who also serves as Minister of Maritime Affairs, met with Executive of Wizz Air Hungary Roland Tischner, and Government Affairs Manager Robert Kiss. 

 

Tischner expressed optimism regarding the new routes. 

 

“By opening a new base, Wizz Air is further strengthening its capacities, and this is one of the ways we are enabling citizens to access the most important European destinations,” Tischner said.

 

Kiss highlighted the importance of cooperation with Radulovic.

 

“I believe that through our joint work we have managed to take many things to a higher level, and thanks to the teamwork between Wizz Air and Minister Radulovic, we are now seeing these results,” Kiss added.

 

It was concluded at the meeting that continuous cooperation is key to the further development and improvement of Montenegro’s air transport.
