Podgorica, (MINA) – The police officers searched on Tuesday several premises used by members of an organized criminal group in Tivat and Kotor’s Kavac settlement, seizing four luxury vehicles, cash and technical equipment, the Police Administration announced.

It is stated that a coordinated operation was carried out in the Kavac near Kotor and in the wider ​​Tivat area in order to locate internationally wanted persons, as well as items of suspected origin.

The Police Administration said that more than 100 police officers searched several locations, including two residential complexes used by R.Z. and his wife T.Z.

According to the police, facilities used by members of the same organized criminal group were also searched, as well as an apartment owned by V.B. and apartments and private beaches owned by related parties.

“During the operation, the police discovered and temporarily seized four luxury vehicles from garages and private parking lots, including one with a market value of around half a million EUR”, the press release said.

Police said that means of communication and technical equipment were also confiscated, as well as EUR 17,000 in cash, the origin of which will be subject of further verification.
