Lekic: NSD ready to revise coalition agreement in Pljevlja

Podgorica, (MINA) - The New Serbian Democracy (NSD) in Pljevlja is ready to revise the coalition agreement in order to keep the Europe Now Movement (PES) in the government in that city, MP Milan Lekic has announced.

The PES stated earlier on Friday that, after several months of political deadlock and continued failure to sign a coalition agreement, they have decided to withdraw from the local government in Pljevlja, stating that they do not want to be part of a government without clear rules, political agreement and responsibility towards citizens.

Lekic said that he was sorry that PES decided to leave the government in Pljevlja, stating that he deeply believes that they have achieved a lot together in a short period.

He believes that all misunderstandings can be resolved through dialogue.

“We have been through a lot together and I believe that any possible misunderstandings can be resolved through a brotherly dialogue. Our party in Pljevlja is ready to revise the coalition agreement in a way that is acceptable to everyone and to sign it together”, said Lekic.
