Kolasin 1600 to host Diplomatic Ski & Snowboard Race Tomorrow
- Kolasin, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Ski Resorts of Montenegro announced that the Kolasin 1600 ski centre will host the regional Diplomatic Ski & Snowboard Race (CD Race 2026) tomorrow, bringing together representatives of the diplomatic corps and international institutions from several countries in the region.

“Ski Resorts of Montenegro recognize the importance of initiatives that connect sport, diplomacy and tourism, and reaffirm their readiness to be a reliable partner in organizing international winter sports events,” the company stated in a press release.
The race will be held on slope number five at the Kolasin 1600 ski centre, in the giant slalom format, and is open to amateur skiers and snowboarders of different age categories.
“The event aims to promote healthy lifestyles, winter sports and regional cooperation through sport and informal diplomatic networking,” Ski Resorts of Montenegro said.
The Diplomatic Ski & Snowboard Race 2026, which will be officially opened by Foreign Minister Ervin Ibrahimovic, is jointly organized by the Embassies of the Czech Republic and Montenegro, with the support of the Embassies of Croatia, Slovakia and Slovenia, as well as technical and logistical support from Ski Resorts of Montenegro and the Buducnost ski club.
“In addition to the sporting segment of the programme, a medal award ceremony and an afterparty for participants are planned, further contributing to the promotion of Kolasin as a regional centre of winter tourism and a meeting point for the international community,” the press release concluded.
