Podgorica, (MINA) - Montenegrin guitarist Milos Karadaglic thanked the Parliament and the jury for selecting him as one of this year’s Thirteenth of July Award recipients, and said that he could not receive it under the current circumstances.

Apart from Karadaglic, the winners of the Thirteenth of July Award are writer Becir Vukovic and graphic artist Veljo Stanisic.

In a letter to Parliament Speaker Andrija Mandic and the jury, Karadaglic said that he is extremely grateful to be nominated and selected as the winner of the highest Montenegrin award - the Thirteenth of July Award.

“Unfortunately, in circumstances beyond my control, I cannot receive this exceptional recognition and I hope that the entire Montenegrin public will understand my decision”, said Karadglic.
