International competition completed successfully

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism, and State Property, the international competition for the conceptual urban and architectural design of Block A1, within the first phase of the Velje Brdo residential development in Podgorica, was successfully concluded on Thursday.
The Ministry stated in a press release that the competition attracted a lot of interest from the professional community, as confirmed by the significant number of submissions from as many as 15 countries worldwide.
“This level of response demonstrates the importance and attractiveness of the project, as well as the recognized potential of the location,” the press release reads.
The Commission carried out a detailed and comprehensive evaluation of the submitted proposals, which were characterized by a high level of quality, creativity, and professional approach.
It is particularly important to highlight that all submitted designs offered valuable ideas and different perspectives on spatial development, further confirming the importance of such public and transparent processes.
The first-prize-winning solution stood out for its exceptional quality, functionality, and alignment with the competition criteria.
A public presentation of the top-ranked design and the awards will be held on Tuesday at 12:00 at the Science and Technology Park in Podgorica, where the interested public will have the opportunity to learn more about the competition results and the awarded solution.
