Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – It was concluded at a meeting of the Coordination Body for the Harmonization and Monitoring of Inspection Oversight that inspection authorities carried out 493 inspections and issued 435 misdemeanour orders during March, April, and May, with the total amount of imposed fines reaching €385,950.
According to the report on coordinated inspections in the previous period, which the Coordination Body reviewed, goods worth €101,220 were temporarily confiscated.
The report indicates that throughout March, April, and May a series of coordinated inspection actions were conducted across Montenegro, involving tax, sanitary, tourism, market, labour, environmental, construction, veterinary, and other inspection services, with the assistance of the Police Directorate and the Customs Administration.
At the meeting, chaired by Minister without Portfolio Milutin Butorovic, it was concluded that the actions had achieved significant results, and therefore the continuation of coordinated inspection oversight will remain a priority in the coming period.
The agenda also included the implementation of a platform through which citizens can report irregularities under the jurisdiction of state inspectorates, as well as the establishment of a call centre.
