Herceg Novi implements capital projects worth €119 million

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – During her visit to the Municipality of Herceg Novi, Minister of Public Works Majda Adzovic said that the total estimated value of projects being implemented in Herceg Novi through Montenegro’s capital budget amounts to €119 million.

 

Following a meeting with the Mayor of Herceg Novi Stevan Katic, Adzovic said that the focus was on both new projects included in this year’s budget and ongoing projects.

 

“They discussed the construction of the bus station, road infrastructure on the Lustica peninsula, namely the Monte Rose road, as well as the water supply network on Lustica, as well as the Olympic swimming pool, which will be cofounded by the Municipality and the Government, that is, the Ministry of Public Works.,” Adzovic said after the meeting.

The focus was also placed on the Children’s Department of the Igalo Institute, which will be converted into a school, and the Spanjola Fortress, which has also been included in the capital budget.

 

The importance of continuous cooperation between state and local institutions was highlighted as a key prerequisite for the successful implementation of development projects.
