Zagreb, (MINA) – Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic Radman indicated on Monday that a solution could be found that would enable unblocking of Chapter 31 in Montenegro’s EU accession negotiations, Radio Free Europe reports.
Grlic Radman confirmed that he had met with his Montenegrin counterpart Ervin Ibrahimovic on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting between the EU and the Western Balkans.
According to him, everything is moving in the direction of resolving open issues.
“It is in our interest not to have unresolved issues burden the accession process, and in long-term our goodneighborly relations. The more open issues we resolve, the better and stronger our relations will be. Croatia will be even more engaged because it is in our interest to have neighbors we share the same values with”, Grlic Radman said.
