Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – In the first two months, the Games of Chance Administration collected a total of €8.38 million in revenues, up 42.35 percent year on year.

“February results are particularly noteworthy, with revenues of €4.3 million, marking a growth of 50.69 percent compared to the same month last year,” the Administration stated in a press release.

The highest growth was recorded in the online gambling segment, where revenues amounted to €3.81 million, 51.92 percent more compared to the same period last year.

“Revenues from betting games totalled €2,08 million, marking a growth of 26.22 percent, while games of chance in slot machine clubs generated revenues of €1.89 million, up 61.74 percent year on year,” the press release reads.

Revenues from casino games amounted to €2583,550 in in the first two months, up 5.5 percent year on year.

“The continuity of revenue growth confirms the effectiveness of the implementation of the Law on Games of Chance, which has established a stable, efficient and transparent regulatory framework, strengthened oversight of operators and improved fiscal discipline in this sector,” the Administration said.
