Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – In the first four months of this year, the Games of Chance Administration collected a total of €15.64 million in revenues, up 24.98 percent year on year.

The highest growth was recorded in the online gambling segment, where revenues amounted to €6.93 million, 32.61 percent more compared to the same period last year.

“Revenues from betting games totalled €3,75 million, marking a growth of 12.88 percent, while games of chance in slot machine clubs generated revenues of €3.62 million, up 49.83 percent year on year,” the Games of Chance Administration said in a press release.

Revenues from casino games amounted to €1.26 million in in the first quarter, down 17.75 percent year on year. 

“The results achieved this year confirm the positive impact of the implementation of the Law on Games of Chance, which further improved control and supervision mechanisms, increased market transparency, and created conditions for more efficient revenue collection,” the press release reads.

Additional system stability was brought by the full implementation of the Games of Chance Administration’s information system, which enables reliable real-time monitoring of operators’ business activities and financial flows.
