Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – In the first quarter, the Games of Chance Administration collected a total of €11.68 million in revenues, up 29.35 percent year on year.

The highest growth was recorded in the online gambling segment, where revenues amounted to €5.25 million, 40.06 percent more compared to the same period last year.

Revenues from betting games totalled €2,93 million, marking a growth of 17.13 percent, while games of chance in slot machine clubs generated revenues of €2.67 million, up 54.7 percent year on year,” the Games of Chance Administration said in a press release.

Revenues from casino games amounted to €807,400 in in the first quarter, down 21.56 percent year on year. 

The Administration stated that the achieved results indicate a stable trend of revenue growth and confirm the effects of an improved regulatory approach in this area. 

“The implementation of the Law on Games of Chance has contributed to greater transparency, more efficient oversight, and strengthened fiscal discipline, which is directly reflected in increased budget revenues,” the press release said.
