Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System (CEDIS) announced that the first phase of the international tender procedure for the implementation of the SCADA/ADMS project, which includes qualification assessment, is currently underway.
CEDIS said that during this stage of the tender, bidders are being evaluated to determine whether they meet the minimum requirements, including technical experience on similar projects, financial stability, staffing capacity, and references.
“Bidders that successfully pass this phase will be invited to submit detailed technical proposals together with financial quotations in the second phase. The entire process is expected to be completed within the next few months, after which a contract will be signed with the most favourable bidder,” the company said in a press release.
CEDIS launched the international tender in late December last year to select the most favourable contractor for the implementation of the SCADA/ADMS project – Phase One, after which bids were submitted on 16 March.
“Given that the tender is conducted in line with the multi-phase procedure of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the first phase of the tender procedure, covering qualification assessment, is currently in progress,” CEDIS said.
CEDIS has launched one of the most important infrastructure projects in its history: the modernization of its electricity distribution network management and monitoring system through the introduction of an advanced ADMS/SCADA system and modern telecommunications infrastructure.
