European study group visits Gvozd wind farm

Niksic, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to Elektroprivreda (EPCG), a group of European influencers from several member states visited the Gvozd wind farm (WF) to learn more about the project and its importance for the development of renewable energy sources in Montenegro.

 

The visit to the Gvozd wind farm was organized as part of a study trip supported by the European Commission (EC).

 

The delegation was welcomed by Executive Director for Development and Investments Ivan Mrvaljevic, Chief Engineer Dusan Muskatirovic, and Head of Corporate Communications Milica Abramovic, who presented the key aspects of the project and answered questions regarding its implementation and future plans. 

 

EPCG recalled that the Gvozd wind farm marks one of the important steps in Montenegro’s energy transition process and confirms the country’s commitment to sustainable development and strengthening energy independence.

 

“In addition to their strategic importance for clean energy generation, projects like this contribute to creating new development opportunities and further position Montenegro as a destination that successfully combines natural resources, modern infrastructure, and green investments,” EPCG said in a press release
