Podgorica, Tallinn, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Montenegro and Estonia are ready to establish closer cooperation in the fields of economy, digitalization, and education, with a focus on the challenges and opportunities in the application of artificial intelligence.
President of Montenegro Jakov Milatovic met in Tallinn with Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal during the second day of his official visit to Estonia.
“The talks confirmed the good and friendly relations between Montenegro and Estonia, along with a mutual readiness to further strengthen cooperation in the fields of economy, digitalization, and education, with a focus on the challenges and opportunities in the application of artificial intelligence,” a press release states.
Special emphasis was placed on strengthening economic relations between the two countries and creating conditions for a stronger presence of Estonian companies on the Montenegrin market through the organization of business forums, direct contacts between business communities, and the exchange of experience.
The two officials agreed that, as a European leader in digital development, Estonia is an important partner for Montenegro in the process of modernizing institutions and improving public services.
