Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Erste Bank has introduced FIT 4.0 (Fast Intragroup Transfer), an upgraded internal system for international transfers within member banks of the Erste and Steiermärkische Sparkasse banking group, offering businesses even more favorable rates than the previous generation of FIT payments.

Erste Bank stated in a press release that, for the first time, the benefits of FIT 4.0 are also available to individual citizens.

“FIT is an internal payment system of the Erste banking group, intended for transfers between member banks in Central and Eastern Europe. During the previous development phase, the FIT system in Montenegro has been available exclusively to businesses since 2016, enabling them to carry out more favourable and efficient international transfers within the Group,” the statement said.

For clients, FIT 4.0 brings optimized costs of international transfers, along with a high level of speed, security, and reliability in processing.

Chairman of the Management Board of Erste Bank Aleksa Lukic said that with FIT 4.0 they are taking a step further in how they approach international payments. 

“Clients do not have to compare and assess which payment option is more favourable in a given case, the bank’s system automatically selects the most favourable option for them. This approach ensures that the client always receives the best solution without additional complexity,” Lukic said.

According to him, FIT 4.0 is a concrete example of how the vision “We build financial health” is translated into everyday practice and benefits in daily interactions between the bank and its clients.

With the introduction of the FIT 4.0 system, Erste Bank further confirms its strategic orientation toward developing modern payment solutions, regional integration, and continuous improvement of the competitiveness of business clients, while maintaining the highest standards of security and transparency.
