Niksic, (MINA-BUSINESS) - Elektroprivreda (EPCG) has received an international award for business quality, which was formally presented in Brussels during a ceremony organized by the European Society for Quality Research.
The award was accepted on behalf of the company by Chairman of the Board of Directors Milutin Djukanovic and Executive Director Zdravko Dragas.
According to the award citation, “EPCG is a company that is strongly developing renewable energy projects, successfully implementing the Solari 3000+ and Solari 5000+ programmes, and has further confirmed its position as one of the leaders of the energy transition in the region through the commissioning of the Gvozd wind farm.”
Djukanovic stated that the company’s business philosophy, embodied in the concept “Produce Where You Consume,” has gained recognition beyond the region.
“Over the past four years, EPCG has completed projects that have added 150 MW of new renewable energy generation capacity. Solar systems with a total capacity of 100 MWp have been installed on more than 10,000 households through the prosumer concept. These capacities already generate around 260 GWh of electricity annually, representing a value of approximately €30 million,” said Djukanovic.
He said that nearly 250 MW of new capacity will be built by the end of the year, with expected annual production of around 400 GWh.
