Podgorica, Sarajevo, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Employment Office presented its new eMplois information system and plans for the digitalization of services for citizens and employers at a conference in Sarajevo.
The new system was introduced at the 2026 European Region Conference of the World Association of Public Employment Services (WAPES).
One of the key messages during the presentation was that the digitalization of the Employment Office is not merely about creating applications, introducing an information system, or replacing paper with electronic forms.
“Digitalization means changing the way an institution operates — from how processes are managed, how data is collected and used, how employees work, and how citizens and employers receive services, to how management makes decisions based on reliable information,” the Employment Office stated.
Deputy Director of the Employment Office Luka Djurickovic presented the digital transformation process, with a special focus on the new eMplois information system, the digitalization of services for unemployed persons and employers, interoperability with other institutions, and the importance of using data for modern labour market management.
He emphasized that eMplois is not just a new application, but a unified digital platform that connects records management, employment mediation, employer relations, active employment policy measures, financial processes, reporting, and data exchange.
