Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – There were 25,590 unemployed people in Montenegro at the end of April, 3.5 percent fewer than in March.

According to the Employment Office, the unemployment rate stood at 8.85 percent. In the same period last year, it was 10.24 percent.

Since the beginning of this year, the Employment Office advertised a total of 9,700 vacancies.

Due to technical circumstances arising from the implementation of the new information system of the Tax Administration, data on the number of newly employed persons are not available.
