Employment Office: 26,790 unemployed people at the end of February
Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – There were 26,790 unemployed people in Montenegro at the end of February, 0.2 percent fewer than in January.
According to the Employment Office, the unemployment rate stood at 8.99 percent in January, down from 10.7 percent in the same month last year.
Since the beginning of this year, the Employment Office advertised a total of 4,720 vacancies.
Due to technical circumstances arising from the implementation of the Tax Administration’s new information system, there are no data on the number of newly employed persons.
