Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The summer tourist season is expected to be more demanding than last year’s, but not less successful, said director of the Association of Private Accommodation Providers Branka Dzoganovic, adding that this year will show how ready the entire tourism system is to function in a coordinated and efficient manner.
“It is no longer enough to simply offer accommodation. Guests judge the experience from the moment they buy a plane ticket, cross the border or arrive at the destination, all the way to communication with the host, the cleanliness of the city, parking, beaches, events and the quality of service in restaurants and other establishments,” Dzoganovic told Mina-business.
She believes that, for that reason, the success of this season will depend on the joint work of all stakeholders in tourism.
“Providers who have invested in quality, reputation and business organization will achieve more stable results, but the destination itself must also demonstrate greater readiness, better organization and professionalism,” Dzoganovic said.
She stated that competition in the region is strong and that guests now very quickly recognize the difference between a destination that functions according to a plan and one that relies solely on natural beauty and improvisation.
