Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Representatives of the Credit Guarantee Fund and the Chamber of Commerce (PKCG) agreed that their cooperation is a natural and important step toward creating a more efficient support system for the business sector.

The Board of Directors of the Credit Guarantee Fund paid its first official visit to the Chamber, sending a clear message that it recognizes the business community and its needs as a key focus of the Fund’s future activities.

“Given that the business community has for years pointed to challenges in access to financing, especially for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, cooperation between the Credit Guarantee Fund and PKCG marks a natural and important step toward creating a more efficient support system for the business sector,” a press release said.

The meeting with PKCG Vice President Nikola Vujovic and Chamber representatives focused on the next steps toward establishing the full functionality of the Credit Guarantee Fund.

“Particular focus was placed on future cooperation between the Credit Guarantee Fund and the Chamber in informing the business community about the opportunities and benefits that the Fund will provide to companies, in order to ensure the widest possible availability of support to the business sector,” the statement added.
