Podgorica, (MINA) - The Niksic Basic Court has rejected the appeals filed by Aco Djukanovic’s defense attorneys against the decision of the court’s investigating judge ordering Djukanovic’s detention on suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosive substances.

The Niksic Basic Court stated that, after reviewing the case files and the arguments presented in the appeals against the detention decision, it was concluded that the appeals should be rejected as unfounded and that the investigating judge acted correctly when ordering the detention of A.Dj.

The Court added that the evidence collected so far in the proceedings indicate the existence of well-founded suspicion that the defendan committed the criminal offense he is charged with.
