Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to President of the United Reform Action (URA) Dritan Abazovic, the experience of Italian companies in agriculture, food processing and exports can be valuable for the development of the Montenegrin economy.

Speaking at the event “Maremma Tuscany – Montenegro: Culture, Development and Cooperation of Territories,” held in the Italian city of Grosseto, Abazovic highlighted the importance of strengthening institutional and business ties between the two territories, as well as creating space for concrete cooperation between companies.

“Montenegro and Italy have strong friendship and a long tradition of cooperation, but I believe there is still much room to improve relations in economic terms, especially through connecting our business communities and regional partners,” Abazovic said.

According to a press release from URA, he said that such meetings are an opportunity to learn from the best European practices, but also to present Montenegro’s potential as a reliable partner for investments and joint projects.

The event, dedicated to strengthening cooperation between Montenegro and the Italian region of Tuscany and promoting Montenegro’s development and investment potential, was also attended by Secretary General of URA Mileta Radovanic.
