Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Montenegro and the European Travel Commission are ready to continue constructive cooperation and carry out joint activities that will contribute to the further promotion of the country as a tourist destination.

Minister of Tourism Simonida Kordic met in Malta with Executive Director of the European Travel Commission Eduardo Santander to discuss enhancing cooperation and joint initiatives aimed at promoting Montenegro as an attractive tourist destination on the European market 

“Possibilities for further strengthening the partnership, as well as the exchange of experience in the field of tourism, were discussed at the meeting,” the Ministry said in a press release.

Kordic also met with Albania’s Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports, Marinela Prifti.

During the talks, special focus was placed on improving regional cooperation in tourism, exchanging good practices, and launching joint initiatives aimed at promoting the region in distant markets.
