Cooperation agreement signed to connect education and labour market

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Representatives of the Secondary School of Economics “Mirko Vesovic” and the Employers’ federation (UPCG) signed a cooperation agreement today aimed at linking education and the labour market through the active participation of employers in developing skills relevant to the modern business environment.

 

The agreement was signed in the office of the director of the Secondary School of Economics “Mirko Vesovic”, Dijana Vujacic. 

 

On behalf of the UPCG, the agreement was signed by its president, Slobodan Mikavica.

 

The agreement expresses the mutual willingness to cooperate in the preparation and implementation of an Erasmus+ project in the field of Capacity Building in Vocational Education and Training (CB VET), aimed at improving employability as well as digital and entrepreneurial skills of young people and adults, with a special focus on women and vulnerable population groups.

 

The UPCG said that connecting education and the labour market through the active involvement of employers in the development of skills relevant to the modern business environment is one of the key goals of the agreement.
