Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Chinese energy companies presented their activities and global experience at a meeting in Parliament, highlighting their readiness for cooperation and investment, particularly in the development of energy capacities and renewable energy projects.

The Office of the Speaker of Parliament stated in a press release that the meeting with representatives of Chinese energy companies, included Yufeng Mo, Executive Director of the Board of Wolong Holding Group and President of Wolong New Energy Group, Eric Hao, Vice President of Wolong, Daniel Liu Yaodong, owner of Eastern Industrial, as well as Milos Djurdjic, coordinator of Chinese companies for Montenegro.

On behalf of the Office of the Speaker of Parliament, advisers Biljana Vucurovic and Nina Ofner Bokan presented the role and competencies of Parliament and emphasizing the importance of a stable and predictable legislative framework for attracting investment.

“Montenegro has significant potential in the energy sector, particularly in renewable energy, and is continuously working on improving the regulatory environment in line with European standards,” the Parliament stated in a press release.
