Podgorica, (MINA) – The Basic State Prosecutor’s Office (ODT) in Cetinje has filed a request with the Court of Misdemeanors to initiate proceedings against two individuals on suspicion of spreading hate speech and insulting V.J.

According to the press release from the Cetinje ODT, the request to initiate misdemeanor proceedings against B.B. and V.M. was filed due to the well-founded suspicion that they had committed an offence under the Law on Prohibition of Discrimination.

“It is suspected that B.B. and V.M., through posts and messages on the social network and in a Viber group, publicly presented content that insulted the victim V.J., incited hatred and intolerance, and created a degrading and offensive environment”, the press releaser reads.
