Central bank governors to discuss the future of money in late April

Tivat, (MINA-BUSINESS) – A panel of central bank governors on the future of money in digital Europe will be organized as part of the Adria Future Summit, which will take place from 22 to 24 April in Porto Montenegro.

 

The panel featruing central bank governors will be one of the central events of this year’s agenda.

 

The panel will bring together prominent governors of European central banks, including Governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG) Irena Radovic, Governor of the Bank of Slovenia Primoz Dolenc, and Governor of the Bank of Estonia Madis Muller.

 

“The discussion will focus on key issues regarding the future of money in the digital era, including the development of the digital euro, the preservation of monetary sovereignty, the stability of the financial system, and the enhancement of the resilience of payment infrastructure,” stated a joint press release from the CBCG and the Adria Future Summit.

 

The panel is being held in the special context of marking 25 years since the establishment of the CBCG, highlighting its transformation and strong progress toward full integration into the European financial and institutional framework.
