Businesses face administrative barriers

Kolasin, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Some businesses in Kolasin are facing administrative restrictions, even though the ski season on Mount Bjelasica is still ongoing and, according to available information, the ski resort’s operations have been extended until mid-April.

Kolasin-based Marconi Sport has submitted a request to the Secretariat for Finance, Property, and Economic Development for an urgent extension of its permit to rent ski equipment, which expires on 1 April.

The company stated that it had originally requested a permit for a one-year period, but that the Secretariat decided to set the validity until the beginning of April, which, they say, does not reflect the actual conditions on the ground.

According to Marconi Sport, there is still snow on Mount Bjelasica, the slopes are open, and ski lifts are running. Therefore, they are requesting an extension of the permit for an additional 30 days, until the end of April, so they can continue operating during the season.

There is currently no official information from the Secretariat for Finance, Property, and Economic Development of the Municipality of Kolasin regarding a potential extension of the permits.
